GIX-PROP: the MT5 Expert Advisor built for prop firm challenges and funded accounts.
Algorithmic trading software for MetaTrader 5: an Expert Advisor (EA) built around FTMO-style two-step challenge rules. It trades EUR/USD on the challenge or funded account your prop trading firm issued to you, with a balance stop you tighten to your firm’s limits.

EUR/USD
One market, one set of rules.
10 days
Free, from when you confirm your card.
~15 min
Optional setup call with Spirix.
It runs on the MT5 account your prop firm issued to you, under your firm’s rules. It is set up with you on a short call by Spirix, an independent setup partner (a separate company, not Gixodia); using it is your choice.
Built around two-step challenge rules
Every layer has one job: protecting the account you trade for your firm. None of them is a promise about results.
Focused on EUR/USD
One market, traded by one set of rules. GIX-PROP trades EUR/USD and nothing else.
A stop you tighten to your firm’s limits
A built-in balance stop you can set lower to fit your firm’s drawdown limits, never higher. You see and set its level in the EA inputs.
Protection layers before the stop
Further protection layers act before the stop is reached, designed to keep the account away from it.
Break-even exit
After a deep losing cycle it exits at break even instead of carrying the position on toward the stop.
Extreme market events
In an extreme market event it closes at the stop to protect the account.
A stop does not lock in the exit price. In fast markets, gaps and slippage can fill an order beyond the stop level.
GIX-PROP runs on MT5 challenge and funded accounts. Prop firms that offer them include FTMO, FXIFY, Blue Guardian and BrightFunded.
Gixodia is not affiliated with these firms and is not a prop firm. Check that your firm allows Expert Advisors on your account type; some firms, such as FXIFY, approve an EA before you run it. Your firm's rules apply and can change at any time.
Firm details checked on October 8, 2026. MT5 is not offered in every country, and several firms do not offer MT5 to US residents.

Your firm-rules checklist
Every firm writes its own rules, and following them is your responsibility. Check each of these with your firm before you run any software.
Expert Advisors allowed
Confirm your firm allows Expert Advisors (automated trading) on your account type. Some do not.
Daily loss limit
Know your firm’s daily loss limit and how it is measured, and set the stop at or below it.
Maximum drawdown
Know the overall drawdown limit, and whether it is static or trailing.
News trading
Check whether your firm restricts trading around high-impact news.
Consistency rules
Some firms cap how much of the result can come from a single day or trade.
Minimum trading days
Check how many trading days your firm requires before a phase can end.
Gixodia does not monitor your firm’s rules for you, and a rule change by your firm is not something the software knows about.
Identical trades on other accounts
Other customers may run the same software, so similar trades can open on different accounts at about the same time. Many firms look for identical or copied trades across accounts and traders. Ask your firm how it treats this before you start.

What prop traders ask before they start
Which prop firm rules is GIX-PROP built around?
GIX-PROP was designed around FTMO’s two-step challenge rules, such as a daily loss limit and a maximum overall loss, measured on the account your firm issued to you. Many firms run similar two-step programmes, but each firm writes its own rules and can change them, so read your firm’s current rules and set GIX-PROP to fit them. Gixodia is not affiliated with FTMO or with any other firm.
How does the balance stop work? Can I set it lower?
GIX-PROP has a built-in stop on the account balance: when losses reach it, GIX-PROP closes its trades. You can set the stop lower, never higher, to fit your firm’s daily and overall drawdown limits, and further protection layers act before it. You see and set the stop level in the EA inputs; the setting is yours and you can change it. A stop sets where GIX-PROP acts, not the fill price: in a fast market, gaps and slippage can fill an order beyond it.
What protects the account before the stop?
Further protection layers act before the stop is reached, so the stop is the last line of defence rather than the only one. These layers manage risk; they do not make a loss impossible, and a losing period can still reach the stop.
How does GIX-PROP help with the daily loss limit?
Set its balance stop lower to keep more distance from your firm’s daily limit. Protection layers act before the stop, and after a deep losing cycle it exits at break even when the market comes back to that level. Many firms measure their daily limit differently from a balance stop (for example on equity, reset each day), and every trade on the account counts toward it, so leave room. A stop sets where GIX-PROP acts, not the price you get. No software can promise that you pass a challenge.
What happens after a deep losing cycle?
After a deep losing cycle, GIX-PROP exits at break even instead of carrying the position all the way to the stop. That depends on the market coming back to the break-even level; if it does not, the stop still applies.
What does GIX-PROP do in an extreme market event?
In an extreme event, such as a sudden spike around major news, GIX-PROP closes at the stop to protect the account instead of waiting. A stop does not fix the exit price, so gaps and slippage can fill the close beyond it. Many firms also have their own rules on trading around news, so check yours.
Which markets does GIX-PROP trade?
EUR/USD only. GIX-PROP does not trade gold, indices, crypto or any other currency pair, and it runs on MetaTrader 5 only.
Does my prop firm allow Expert Advisors?
Check before you start. Rules on Expert Advisors differ from firm to firm and can change: some firms allow them, some restrict them, and many have rules on copying identical trades across accounts or on trading around news. Read your firm’s current rules, ask the firm if anything is unclear, and only run GIX-PROP where they allow it. Following your firm’s rules is your responsibility; Gixodia cannot check them for you.
Will my firm flag an EA that other traders also use?
It can happen, so ask first. GIX-PROP runs the same logic for every subscriber, so similar trades can open on other customers’ accounts at about the same time. Some firms approve an EA before you run it, some limit how much capital can run the same third-party strategy across accounts, and many restrict identical or copied trades. Ask your firm how it treats a licensed EA before you start.
How much does GIX-PROP cost, and is there a free trial?
GIX-PROP costs $249 a month (USD). It starts with a 10-day free trial that begins when you complete payment, not when the software is installed. A card is required to start, and you are not charged if you cancel during the 10 days. To make sure your card works, Stripe places a temporary $1 authorization and releases it right away. Nothing is charged today. There is one free trial per person across all Gixodia plans: if you have already had a Gixodia free trial, the first month is charged when you confirm your card. You can cancel anytime from your dashboard.
Can I hold GIX-PROP and another Gixodia plan at the same time?
Yes. You can run GIX-PROP on a prop firm account and also hold Bot Euro or Bot Euro + Gold for a live account in your own name. Each plan is its own subscription, billed separately, and the free trial is one per person, so a second plan starts paid. If you already have a Gixodia plan, do not sign up again: sign in to your dashboard and press Add GIX-PROP on your Licenses page. You read and sign the GIX-PROP terms there, then pay by card.
What happens if I fail a challenge?
Failing a challenge is always possible, with or without software, and no software can promise that you pass a challenge. The challenge fee is paid to your firm under its terms, and Gixodia cannot refund it. Your GIX-PROP subscription is separate: it continues until you cancel it, and you can cancel anytime from your dashboard. If your firm issues you a new MT5 login, for a new challenge or a reset, change the account on your license in your dashboard (Change account) when you switch: a license runs on one MT5 account at a time.
How is GIX-PROP installed?
On a short setup call of about 15 minutes with Spirix, an independent setup partner. Spirix is a separate company, the call is free, and using it is your choice. Spirix sets GIX-PROP up with you on the call, on the MetaTrader 5 account your prop firm issued to you. Gixodia provides the software only; the installation is done by Spirix, not by Gixodia. If you prefer to install it yourself, your dashboard has GIX-PROP and its own install guide (PDF).
Where do I find my MT5 account number?
It is your MT5 login, digits only. In MetaTrader 5 open the Navigator (Ctrl+N): under Accounts it is the number before your name. Your prop firm also sends it as "Login" with your challenge details. Enter only the number, never your password or server.
What happens when I move to a new challenge?
Your firm gives you a new login for each phase, reset or new challenge. Open this license, choose Change account and enter the new login. The robot stops on the old account within about 10 seconds (closing any trades still open there) and is ready on the new one. Then attach the robot on the new account with the same key.
No software can guarantee a passed challenge, a kept account or a payout.
FTMO is named here as the rule set GIX-PROP was designed around, and with the other firms only as places that offer MT5 challenge accounts. Gixodia is not affiliated with, endorsed by or a partner of any of these firms or any other prop firm, and Gixodia is not a prop firm.
